Vivo Energy opens its 250th shell gas station


NAIROBI, Kenya November 16 – Vivo Energy Kenya (VEK) officially opened its 250e Shell Service Station – Shell Kamakis Service Station located on the East Ring Road and unveiled a nationwide consumer promotion to reward and appreciate consumers

The three-month nationwide customer campaign for all Shell customers would win them a three-bedroom home and an Isuzu NMR truck.

The promotion service dubbed “Jaza Raha Na Shell, Shinda Nyumba” would require customers to purchase Shell fuels or Shell lubricants at any Shell outlet nationwide and receive a scratch card that may contain the winning code.

Speaking at the launch of their 250th Shell petrol station, Vivo Energy’s executive vice president for the East and South regions, Hans Paulsen said the promotion was aimed at giving back to motorists who had struggled during the period of pandemic.

“This year has not been easy for Kenyan motorists and through this campaign we want to make them smile as we end the year. We want to give them a head start to get into the festive spirit by appreciating them and rewarding them with prizes that will increase their economic livelihoods, ”said Paulsen.

He added that to be eligible for the prizes, motorists would have to spend a minimum of Sh 300, while drivers of motor vehicles would have to spend a minimum of Sh 1000.

In addition, he revealed that the new shell gas station, established on the eastern ring road, had the capacity to pump 450,000 liters of fuel per month.

“As we launch this campaign and open our 250e gas station, we would like to let all of our customers know that we appreciate them and that we are here to travel with them through all seasons, ”he said.

The new Kamakis shell would contain restaurants and banking facilities that would provide consumers with a full stop for all their needs.

“Shell Kamakis will be home to several reputable entities in the financial, healthcare and quick-service restaurant sectors, offering motorists and shoppers the opportunity to experience quality service at the gas station,” added Paulsen.
