The Easter Bunny has gone to Welcome Break early, as the service area operator launches a special chocolate gas pump in time for the Easter weekend.

With more than a million people set to stop by for Welcome Break services this Easter, the one-of-a-kind pump will allow children to fill their cups with chocolate milk for a treat on long car journeys.

For one day only, the unique chocolate filling station will be dispensing chocolate milk (both dairy and oat milk) to children traveling via Welcome Break Newport Pagnell North services on Thursday 14and April.

All kids need to do to get their hands on a free chocolate pick-me-up is fill their cups at the pump, accompanied by an adult.

Featuring a bright Easter floral pattern and decorated with eggs, the green and white pump will be housed just inside the entrance doors to Welcome Break Newport Pagnell North services from 11am to 5pm on Thursday 14and April.

Thursday is expected to be one of the busiest travel days next week as people prepare to roam the country over the Easter long weekend.

John Diviney, CEO of Welcome Break, said: “With travel back on the agenda at Easter, we wanted to provide a little treat for the over one million people who stop by Welcome Break services during Easter holidays. The very special chocolate pump will be in Welcome Break’s Newport Pagnell North services from 11am to 5pm on Thursday 14th April so the kids can enjoy a cup of delicious chocolate milk to get them in the Easter weekend mood !

Welcome Break is a one-stop-shop for travelers’ Easter needs – from last-minute Easter eggs to roast lunch sides and gifts for loved ones, plus it’s the perfect stop on long trips.

During the Easter period (April 1 to May 6), Welcome Break will offer cash back on fuel purchases. Customers will receive 10p on every liter of fuel when spending £10 or more on food or drink at participating venues.
