Downstream oil company, Rainoil Limited, has increased its presence in the petroleum products retail sector with the opening of a new petrol station in Ibafo, along the Lagos-Ibandan highway, in the State of Ogun.

The company said the new outlet, which took its fill-ups to more than 130, was built to allow Ibafo residents and motorists traveling along the busy highway to sample the excellent customer service from Rainoil.

Speaking at the unveiling of the facility over the weekend, Rainoil Limited Group Managing Director Dr Gabriel Ogbeche said the on-site outlet was well thought out as the motorway was the fastest route popular in the country.

Ogbeche said: “On our own initiative we realized that a very important artery in this country, which is the road out of Lagos, was not present, and as a leading player in the sector in downstream, we thought this was one place we can’t ignore.”

Rainoil Chief Operating Officer Mr Jude Nwaulunne said the station was built to industry standards and included 10 pumps for petrol, two pumps for diesel and one for kerosene .

He added that the facility also has a liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) skid to cater for those who require cooking gas.
