HAM launches a new CNG-LNG mobile service station | News

Spanish developer of liquefied natural gas (LNG) and compressed natural gas (CNG) filling stations, HAM Group (HAM), has announced EDUX, a mobile filling station that will allow users to store and refuel LNG all types of trucks and heavy vehicles, in addition to providing the possibility of refueling CNG.

Developed by HAM Criogenica and the HAM R&D team, the mobile unit has 60,000 liters (60 m3) of LNG refueling capacity and operates at low pressure (2-3 bar).

Capable of keeping the liquid subcooled and adapting to the optimum temperature demanded by brands such as Volvo, Scania and IVECO, the unit’s submersible pump can supply up to 12,000 kg/h of LNG and 300 kg/h of CNG (CNG storage capacity of 7000 kg).

Equipped with two “on-the-fly” conditioning systems, the service station also includes two CNG dispensers and two LNG dispensers, both of which use HAM’s “innovative” nozzle, a “nofrost” system and a double anchor.

The remotely monitored EDUX will make fuel selection and payments independently to each of the dispensers using a debit or credit card or the HAM card for business use.

Inaugurated in Sagunto, Valencia, the new service station will operate 24 hours a day throughout the year.

HAM’s new development comes after a successful year for the company, having delivered LNG refueling stations in Chile and Finland, in addition to celebrating the delivery of its 100and LNG filling station in July 2021.
