Gazprom Neft has reached 1,365 outlets in 45 regions of Russia adding 44 new locations in 2020, and plans to add more than 70 new locations in 2021.

Gazprom Neft, Russia’s third oil company in terms of refining and fourth in oil production, commissioned 44 new outlets in its home country in 2020, reaching a total of 1,365 outlets in the country, and expanding the geographic coverage of its network of gas stations to 45 regions of Russia, according to a press release from the company.

For 2021, Gazprom Neft’s strategy to grow its retail business in Russia includes the addition of more than 70 new locations. In its expansion strategy, the company plans to open locations in Rostov Oblast, a new region for the company.

Gazprom will place particular emphasis on the development of road infrastructure along Russia’s most important highways – the M-7 “Volga” and M-11 “Neva” roads, according to the head of the gas station network Gazprom Neft for Russia, Oleg Kuzmenkov.

New digital, energy efficient and environmentally friendly technologies were used in the construction of new filling stations and in the modernization of existing filling stations in 2020, with the opening of the very first Gazprom Neft energy station. solar power in Yaroslavl oblast, the statement said.
