Located at the Gregory Distribution depot, the result of a collaboration agreement between Gasrec and the logistics company.
The UK’s leading fuel supplier for gasoline-powered utility vehicles Gasrec is adding a new bioNGL refueling station in Cullompton. The new gas filling station will be located in the premises of Gregory Distribution, the result of a collaboration agreement between Gasrec and the logistics activity.
Gasrec delivered the frame-mounted facility – used as a temporary solution for fleets exploring the bioGNL option – directly from frozen food distribution company Reed Boardall, which was recently upgraded to a permanent on-site refueling station.
âWe have installed a pumped mobile refueling station which we use to seed new locations where we want to quickly introduce bio-LNG into an area. The plan is to have a more permanent refueling station in Cullompton, but the rapidly changing nature of this industry requires a flexible approach, âcommented on infrastructure James Westcott, Commercial Director of Gasrec.
Last year, Gregory Distribution began a trial to test the suitability of Bio-LNG to replace diesel in its fleet of more than 1,000 trucks. The success of this trial has now taken the company to the next step, installing the station in its Cullompton depot.
Gasrec supplies, builds and operates Bio-LNG and Bio-CNG refueling stations in the UK.
Founded in the South West in 1919, Gregory Distribution is one of the UK’s largest private transport companies.
