Galileo launches plug-and-play LNG / LCNG filling station

The solution is intended for fleets, logistics centers and service stations, with particular emphasis on heavy goods vehicles.

Galileo Technologies continues to expand its presence in international markets with the introduction of a plug-and-play station that supplies Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) or Liquefied Compressed Natural Gas (LNG). The solution is aimed at fleets, logistics centers and service stations to ensure rapid filling with LNG and LCNG, according to a press release from the company.

The Galileo Patagonia can dispense high throughput LNG or LCNG for medium and heavy trucks, as well as 374 standard cubic feet of LCNG for light and utility vehicles. In addition to its own standard built-in hoses, the station is also equipped to add dispensers to refueling docks or separate docks so that multiple vehicles can be refueled simultaneously.

The station works with a prepaid terminal which eliminates the need for the driver to pay in cash, use a credit card or with cell phones. By selecting the manufacturer and the model of the truck on the display screen, the station automatically ships the LNG at the temperature and pressure recommended by the vehicle manufacturer.

Patagonia Stations and their LNG supply in Europe are provided by Edge Energy Europe, a subsidiary of Galileo Technologies.
