Dorset petrol and diesel updates: Forecourts run out of fuel as environmental protests disrupt supply chain


Service stations in Dorset have dried up following environmental protests at oil refineries. A station on the M27 and one in Dorchester have been confirmed to have no petrol, although both BP sites are now scheduled to have been refueled.

There is no fuel shortage in the UK, but there have been supply chain issues following environmental protests at oil depots. A Dorset man chained himself to a rigging depot for more than 30 hours during protests over the previous two weekends.

The AA alerted from 9am this morning: ‘No fuel available. No fuel available at diesel pumps on M27 eastbound at (Rownhams Services). Located between J3 and J4.’ Rownhams have now put the fuel back in place
